AVAILABLE LABS
Dog owners: To add a courtesy listing for your dog, click on this form (please be sure to enter your contact info carefully, and also to indicate your dog’s age in years, months or weeks). Please note that while it is OK for you to ask a modest rehoming fee to cover expenses you’ve incurred—such as for vaccinations, a collar, leash and toys—you may not use this service to sell a dog or puppies for financial gain.
Those looking to adopt: Courtesy listings are provided as a public service. They are basically free want-ads. SCLRR does not evaluate the dogs that appear in the courtesy listings. You should take care to meet the dog you’re interested in and conduct your own evaluation of the dog before adopting it. Also, please notify us immediately if you feel someone is using this service to sell a dog or puppies for profit.
All entries are automatically deleted after two weeks; upon request by the animal’s owner, an SCLRR volunteer can delete the listing sooner.
If you do re-home or adopt a dog privately through our Courtesy Listings, we strongly encourage you to print out and use the following generic Release of Ownership and Terms of Adoption forms to effect legal transfer of ownership.

BLACK FEMALE entered on 04/14/2025
BLACK FEMALE, 10 MONTH(s).Charley is 10 months old, birthday May 10, 2024. She is an all black lab with a small white patch on her chest and she is 64 pounds. Charley loves kids, loves to play with cats and is ok dogs. I have two other dogs and she gets along with them great. However, at dog parks she gets a little nervous with new dogs. She is house trained and knows her basic commands (sit, lay down, paw, waits till I give the ok to eat). Charley is very silly, playful and loves to cuddle or sit on your lap. She loves playing fetch, being outside, going for walks and playing with her rope toys or bones. I rescued Charley July of 2024 from a man who abused and neglected her. Charley to this day is still a little nervous around men she has never met before. Charley developed a skin allergy to something in my backyard that has been causing massive rashes all over stomach, ears and nose. The rashes have caused her to lose hair (due to excessive scratching). With countless vet visits and changing of diet we’ve tried everything we can to get to the root of the problem but nothing seems to be working. As much as my family and I love Charley, financially we are unable to support her and would hate for her to live in discomfort. I would love for Charley to go to a family that will love and cherish her the same way me and my family do.
