2024-12-18: Hey There! My name is Cornelius, but you may call me Corn or Corny. Everyone does! I am around 10 months old of pure puppy! The full package of a puppy! Which means I can be very mischievous! I am very big for my age and my feet are ginormous! I look a little goofy. My mom says I leave dinosaur tracks in the dirt!I have been with my foster family for a few months now and have discovered I love kids and other young pups like me! My family doesn't have a cat, but I'm so friendly with everyone and everything I'm sure a cat wouldn't bother me. I live with a 4 year old and he is your typical loud, running around, banging on things riding bikes/scooters kind of boy. I love watching him and checking in on him. I do a lot of nibbling on my humans, it's the way I play and show love. My foster parents are teaching me to not nibble on the toddler, but sometimes I can't help myself he is so cute! Speaking of playing, I love to play and it's my full time job. I have two foster sisters that always keep me company. My youngest sister plays hard with me all day. I do get a lot of energy in the morning and she wears me down by playing with me. There are times throughout the day my foster mom has to tell me when my sisters have had enough because sometimes I don't want to stop. I like to play tug of war- a lot! I'm learning fetch, but the raise of a hand still makes me flinch, so be patient please, I'll catch on quick. I'm really smart. I do dig with my big paws. My mom hasn't seen me in action, but she gets to discover the masterpiece I leave for her! I have plenty of hobbies! Just to name a few - I like to make sure no one left anything on the counter tops, but I'm happy clean up after them! I'm an excellent, quiet, inspector of the trash and I also like to take socks from my mom and chew the toes out! I just blame it on the washing machine! So while I am still a pup and everything that goes with that, I'm potty trained, I walk on a leash like a gentleman, I listen when recalled and correct easily. I'm a great road dog, once you can coax me into the car. I don't have high anxiety in the car and I usually fall asleep, however I do prefer to be up close and personal with you while you drive. My mom makes sure she folds all the seats down, so I can be the backseat driver right at her shoulder. I'm not crate trained and I don't ever want to be. My parents tried a few times, but they quickly learned I wasn't going to let them forget about me in there. In return for them not making me sleep in a crate, I behave myself at night. I use the doggy door with no accidents in the house and I sleep on my moms feet to let her know I'm right there. I'm never too far away. I don't like to be alone, so I will sleep head to head with one of my sisters or cuddle with one of my parents. I'm looking for a family who wants to play with me (and take naps with me), has the patience to teach me new tricks, has another puppy to play with, a fridge full of carrots and apples (those are my favorite snacks!), willing to give lots of pets, scratches and good boys, because after all, I am a really good boy. Are you looking for me?
