More detail:
2024-12-11:I'm Franny! I'm a sweet and curious 7-month-old pup looking for my forever home. I may be shy at first, but with some patience and love, I'll quickly warm up and show you just how affectionate I can be. Once I trust you, I'm all about cuddles and being close to my humans.

I'm a smart girl with a love for learning. I picked up the doggy door right away, and I'm already learning commands like 'come', 'sit', 'lay down', 'place', and 'wait'. Training is extra fun because I'm food-motivated, and I even solved a treat puzzle on my first try! I'm still learning new things and would love to continue learning with you.

I'm a curious observer of the world around me, and while loud noises can catch me off guard, I'm not one to hide-I'll just take a step back, then settle on the couch to watch from a safe spot.

I love my chew toys, and I do have a little obsession with socks, so keep an eye out! I haven't destroyed any furniture or shoes so my foster parents are proud. I haven't quite learned how to fetch or tug-of-war, but I do love sneaking toys from my foster brother when he's not looking-we share just fine! I also enjoy napping near my humans. I'm happy on my doggy bed, but sometimes I sneak onto the couch or the bed when no one's looking because I just love being close to you and getting pets.

While I enjoy some peace and quiet, I can get a little overwhelmed in busy environments. When things get hectic, I'll find my favorite spot on the couch or my bed until things settle down. I've met a few kids, and I did great with them. I'm also good with other dogs at the house! I have a blast with my foster brother, and I had fun hanging out with two golden retriever sisters who came to visit. When they started rolling around in grass and dirt I was not into that so I watched them play in the backyard. I'm still figuring out how I feel about dogs I see on walks or on leash, but I think I'd do just fine meeting them in a more relaxed setting at home.

I'm still getting used to walks, cars, and new people. I like to walk in a fun zigzag pattern, but I'm improving every day. With a confident and patient handler, I know I'll continue to grow and thrive. I'd love to be part of a family who is home often and can help build my confidence. A doggy sibling to play with would be a dream!

I'm pretty easy going when it comes to baths, getting my teeth brushed, and even wearing diapers when needed. I'm pretty laid back and don't need too much play time and pretty mellow for a 7 month old puppy. If you're looking for a sweet, loving puppy who just wants to be by your side, I might be the perfect match for you! I'm still learning about new experiences and fast movements, so I need a family that will be patient and help me build my confidence as I continue to explore the world.
