More detail:
2024-12-01: Hi! My name is Ray, but you may call me Ray Ray! I'm a sweet, cuddly, 3 year old boy looking for the bestest of homes. I was picked up as a stray and I am forever grateful the shelter called SCLRR. I did my very best at my evaluation and even flopped on my back to show how nice I am. I guess I looked pretty beat up, so my evaluator said I was definitely leaving with her!

I came in fairly thin at 75 lbs with a lot of new scars, but am now well on my way to being a healthy weight and my injuries are all healed up. I am what they call a Dudley with beautiful amber eyes and have been told I have the most luxurious, soft coat. I give the softest of nudges and I take treats like a real gentleman. I get along with all doggies, big and small! Recently I met the cutest little barn kitty where I'm staying! I wanted to introduce myself, but she wasn't interested in being friends, so I left her alone. I also met some farm animals and they were fascinating! I suggested we play with them, but I guess that is inappropriate. Who knew?

I love to go for walks! I'm still learning to be not so pushy, but I do correct easily. But if you would prefer to stay home, I would be glad to cuddle with you on the couch! Oh! And as an extra bonus my trainer said I come with some lessons from her! And I love her!

I am looking for a home for that is active and where someone is home most of the day. I'm not wild about being alone, but I can be trusted in the house...although if something resembles a dog toy, I will assume it is...throw pillows, TV remotes, etc. So much fun to be had!

Soooo....If you're searching for a best friend, a walking, hiking or running partner, or a gorgeous cuddle bug, I am all that and more. I will be happy here while I wait for you to come find me! See you soon!
