2025-02-22: Hello everyone, my name is Cindy B and I'm a 3 month old 'honorary' Lab rescued by SCLRR! I'm actually a German Shepherd/Short haired pointer mix, and I know that now because of a DNA test. Now my foster mom knows why I am SO SMART! I was one of 6 young puppies that were left abandoned overnight in a box outside a local shelter. We were all freezing cold with only our collective body heat to keep us warm and we were starving. When the shelter found us they reached out to SCLRR for help. I was named after one of the characters in the popular 70's sitcom called The Brady Bunch. I was named Cindy because I was the smallest in my litter and the most precocious! I may be the smallest, but my craftiness makes my foster mom laugh a lot! After playtime I'll want to cuddle in your lap and give you puppy nibbles. I'm still developing my unique personality, but my Foster mom says I'm very smart & confident, and with continued love and guidance I'll become your best companion. I'm having a wonderful time at my foster mom's home, but I'm ready for my forever family to scoop me up and take me home! I'm hoping to find a dog experienced family, ideally with another dog to learn from and people that are not away from home for more than a few hours at a time. My new family will need to nurture me through my puppy phases, provide the right amount of exercise, LOTS of enrichment, socialization, training, guidance and of course LOVE! I'll need my new family to teach me good manners so I can become my best me and your most loyal companion. If you think you're up for the challenge, please contact your family rep. I'll be waiting for your call!!!
