More detail:
2025-02-05: A couple in their 70's and 80's with recent medical issues are looking to rehome their beautiful female Lab-Mix named Lady, who is 55lbs and about 2yrs old. They love Lady, but realize that finding a forever home for her is the best decision so she can excel. Lady is sweet, quiet and calm, does not bark, is non-aggressive, but very shy and takes time warming up to new people. She loves water activities and would adore a home with a pool or kiddie pool she can splash around in. She plays fetch and will dig to hide bones and toys. Not afraid of noises even on July 4th. She likes being inside and outside but can chew on furniture or plants when bored or home alone. Also some separation anxiety when left alone. May be more trusting and affectionate with men. Adopted from West Valley Shelter in May 2024. Spayed, up to date on vaccinations. Potty trained and uses doggy door. Has lived with a small terrier with no problem but uncertain of other dogs and cats. Unknown how she acts with young children but has been around older teenagers with no problem. Needs a family or preferably a couple who is home most of the time. Also a patient and loving family who understands shy and timid dogs. Requires attention and activity to prevent boredom and destructive behavior. Could benefit from training to help boost trust and confidence. Walks ok on a leash.
